My Sim Personality

Score (0-10)

Personality Dimension

Neat (vs. Sloppy)

Neat, tidy Sims typically enjoy cleaning up the house or grooming themselves in front of a mirror. There's always something to be done around the house and they'll more often than not be found doing it; great for a house, but it can tire Sims out.

With their constant disregard of cleanliness and hygiene, sloppy Sims are content to simply "be." They tend to enjoy just about anything that doesn't require planning or cleaning up on their part.

Outgoing (vs. Shy)

Outgoing Sims are likely to jump headfirst into any situation. Charm and confidence are their best traits and when they're in a friendly mood they enjoy group activities most of all. Keep an eye on these characters, though; outgoing Sims can be too brash, and others aren't always so impressed.

Introspective and quiet, shy Sims often think about the world around them and write in their diaries rather than actually interact with anyone. It may be harder to break out of their shells, but if shy Sims take the time to get to know others they'll be delighted by the social world awaiting them.

Active (vs. Lazy)

Active Sims are almost always on the move but need a lot of food and sleep to keep up their hectic pace. They're apt to be happiest while breaking a sweat, an exhausting idea to most other Sims. An active Sim will usually get more enjoyment from watching sports on TV than reading a book.

Lazy Sims have been known to veg out on the couch for hours on end, so naturally, they don't need much sleep to sustain their constant lazying. They still enjoy socializing wiht other Sims and can be persuaded to get out of the house once in a while.

Playful (vs. Serious)

Playful Sims are more likely to find entertainment and fun in the world around them; they tend to be more curious than any other Sim. They may have a lighthearted nature, but they can wear themselves out with their antics, as well as get on their fellow Sim's nerves.

Serious, quiet, thoughtful Sims are more inclined to enjoy logic puzzles and good conversation, but they don't respond too well to chaos or silly behavior. Repairing broken items or working on an important project can keep serious Sims content.

Nice (vs. Grouchy)

Encouraging and generous, nice Sims tend to be easy to get along with and very positive. They'll listen to what other Sims have to say whether it's interesting or not and clean up after dirty roommates. If they don't watch out though, other Sims may take advantage of their good nature.

Grouchy Sims, despite their sour mood, can still be social creatures. They'll probably enjoy teasing a Sim as much as telling a joke. They don't seem to mind when other Sims overreact and they like playing a game as much as anyone else, but be warned: they tend to be sore losers.

Pixel Trade TPBM Alien Edition

I am insanely excited about TPBM.  I have two neighborhoods that only have aliens.  The one I put these sims in is a build-a-neighborhood with the rules modified to fit my storyline better.  My pixel trade neighborhood is also only aliens, so I am really excited about this.  I can't wait until Thursday, when I'll have the time to put all the Sims 2 sims in the collection post into my game.

For [personal profile] sneebsey :
TPBM will create an elder alien, a retired botanist who was exiled from her home planet for some reason. She is to be worn, yet still pretty, and to have a skin with a pattern on the face and/or body.

Note: The CC version is missing her outfit.  I apparently put it in the wrong folder in my downloads, and I can't open Body Shop without taking out half of my cc.  I'll probably be loading my game on Thursday, if anyone wants what she's wearing.
For astro_cake:
TPBM will create a very professional alien. Business suits and all that jazz. He or she will have vivid green eyes. He or she loves children, but would rather adopt than have kids of their own.

I also made a bonus sim kid, because I wanted to be able to plop them into my alien neighborhood with them ready for their intended storyline.  She's just a  random mixing together of a couple of my other alien sims, but she turned out cute.  She's only available without CC, because I packaged her intending to just preserve her for myself.

I had spent most of that morning ranting about how my camera hack sucks, so I didn't take any posed pictures, but I do have a couple pictures from playing their lot.

I wanted to be able to put them in directly instead of letting them sit in my saved sims folder until I could think of a good way to work them in, so they are all living on the same lot.  The general idea of the neighborhood is that it is an island set up by a major universe-spanning corporation as a small alien colony on earth.  Due to limited space no one can live alone.  A significant number of the spots on the island are reserved for refugees and academics, but there is in general limited space.

My thinking was that Green-Eyes hadn't gotten as far into the adoption process as he had been expecting, so he had to take on a roommate.  Because he's wealthy enough (He works for the corporation, but I haven't decided on the specific title) to afford his own lot and maybe too nice for his own good, he volunteers to take in an elderly woman that was forced to flee her country without taking the time to meet her.  Once they start living together, it is obvious she hates him and the company he works for (I'm thinking eco-terrorism as to why she left her planet, because she spends a lot of her time making the angry gesture at me).  He adopts a child from her planet, which I picture as looking kind of like in Avatar, as a means of delaying his almost inevitable murder.

Nice first conversation to have with your adoptive daughter.

Dollhouse obsession!

Financial counseling obsession!

Lemonade obsession!

(There was also gardening obsession, but my camera hack was only wanting to take pictures of the top of The Botanist's head.  There was a lot of rage and saving and re-entering the lot.  Please, pretend there are pictures of a lovely greenhouse with plant clutter carefully arranged to look as though Green-Eyes was forced to quickly transport them from the space ship, while The Botanist busily directed him and threatened his life if he dropped one of her plants.)

Face sucking obsession!

I apparently was not paying close enough attention to zodiac compatibility when I was getting them ready.  Green-Eyes is a family sim, and The Botanist was the first person of legal age he saw and had some bolts with.  I was intending on leaving him single because he could not find the robotic-zombie-that-doesn't-wear-underwear of his dreams.

(Suck Face makes me squee.  I would be so happy if my sims started autonomously casually romantically sucking face.)

In my storyline, she would be dropping him on purpose immediately after this picture was taken.

That couch looks majorly uncomfortable.

Their entire courtship took place in one night. I have sims I intend to get together that take longer than this.  The day before I took this picture I finally caved and let Harry and Ron get married.  I'm starting to suspect my sims have another god that is sneakily micromanaging behind my back (and is trying to tell me something about their shipping preferences).

I'm completely addicted to alien skins, so I've decided to make a few official all alien neighborhoods. All the skins I've used, with one exception, have been geneticized on Pooklet's scale if they weren't already. I did the the Trick-or-Treat option using the prompt Marine.

In my game, Flounder has maxed niceness and shyness. He's a family sim that rolls constant wants to talk to his kids. He's obsessed with giving gifts and has rolled that want four times. Once the buying the necessity wants were done, he rolled a want to be a marine biologist. His OTH is tinkering and he actually wanted to fix the car instead of play with the train, which solidifies his status as one of my favorite sims. I'm kind of questioning how yellow his lipstick looks in comparison to his skin.

Dora produces pretty spawn and is an annoyingly attentive mother (even with nobabyharassment). However, ACR struck and she had an affair. And then invited the guy over two more times.

Nemo (A teen)

In my game, she's Flounder and Dora's daughter. I completely love her because she is a tinkerer with a girlfriend that was the first sim to slide down the railing of the stairs when I installed Apartment Life. She is a family/popularity sim that was overjoyed to be living in a house with twelve, mostly pregnant, other people, even though she kept nearly dieing from piano obsession. Her true OTH is telling dirty jokes, which she does autonomously constantly to traumatize Flounder.

I always like to test what my sims' kids look like, while I'm still in CAS.  Flounder and Dora's kids were all great, but these two were my favorites.

I used Maxis jewelery and it apparently cannot be removed in bodyshop.  When I tested it, if CleanInstaller is used there wasn't a problem, but if there's a problem I'll go back and package a version of him without it.

Sobek : Yurrd
Does anyone know who made this skin?  It is lost somewhere in my downloads folder, so it is the one that is not geneticized.  I love it and was wondering if anyone knew if there were any recolors.

When I heard the prompt Sobek, I thought of the DC comic book character, a bad guy mostly from 52.  I really didn't want his personality in the comics to be reflected in his sim form, since I don't think I've heard of a cannibal mod and I try not to think about DC crossovers if I don't have to.

Yurrd packaged with a file I thought looked a little suspicious, so I packaged him without it, too.  The file is e5b9e0c8b4edb1b60808962936c15f8c. I haven't heard of this file, so I'm not sure if it's one of the ones that aren't anything but attach themselves to sims.

For primrose, I thought of shooting stars.  They're a pretty combination of pink, purple, yellow, and white.  I wanted Astrid to look angular and a little sad.  Shooting stars always gave me the impression of being outwardly unapproachable, so she's serious and shy.

I really need to remember to take the time to make this journal look pretty. Or at least upload some icons.
